NC Aizenman a Washington post staff writer that writes that the number of illegal immigrants has fallen by 300,000 this past year. This is due to the economic crisis, and mexican immigrants are very vulnerable to economic shifts because they are usually uneducated and work blue collar jobs. The latino illegal immigrant population had been steadily growing at 525,000 a year and now it has fallen to 275,000. This could illuminate the argument that we need to bring more immigrants into this country and help support them.
